Academics

At Our Savior Lutheran School, we believe every child is a unique creation of God, blessed with individual gifts and talents that contribute to our vibrant learning community. From our youngest learners at age two to our eighth-grade graduates, we are committed to providing an education that challenges, nurtures, and inspires.

Our caring, certified teachers are dedicated to understanding each student’s strengths and needs, offering personalized attention and hands-on learning experiences that promote both academic excellence and personal growth. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, every child receives the support they need to thrive.

More than just an educational institution, OSL is a family united in Christ’s love. Here, students are empowered not only with the knowledge and skills for academic success but also with values that shape their character and faith journey. Rooted in respect, compassion, and the truth of God’s Word, we guide children to grow in their faith while preparing them for life’s challenges and opportunities.

LASE Specialized Education

OSL partners with LASE to provide special education and related services to children with special learning needs. A LASE Education Consultant works onsite with children who have been assessed and are in need of educational assistance.

Standardized Testing

K-8th grade participate in NWEA testing three times per year.  NWEA's Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests provide parents, students, and educators with a personalized and timely understanding of their academic achievement and growth. The computer-adaptive format tailors the test to each student's specific learning level, offering numerous benefits for both their immediate and long-term educational journey.

Multi-Age Classrooms

Students in grades 1-8 learn in multi-age classrooms, fostering peer collaboration,
enhanced social and emotional growth, a supportive environment with less
competition, and the development of a strong growth mindset.

We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you into the OSL family. It would be our privilege to partner with you and your family at this important stage in your child's development.
